INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 26, 2024) – It was supposed to be Friday Night Lights racing, but rain forced a delay and it became a Sunny Saturday race for Evagoras Papasavvas as he returned to the podium for the 6th time in eight races this 2024 racing season.

Getting back on the podium after missing twice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway only 14 days earlier meant a lot to Evagoras Papasavvas who is chasing the 2024 USF-2000 Driver Championship. It was not a win, the victory went to his teammate Tanner DeFabis in the Jay Howard Team #9 car, but the third-place finish and the points that when with it kept Papasavvas firmly in second in the driver standings after the first eight races of the 2024 USF-2000 season. It was a great day for Evagoras and the Jay Howar Driver Development team.

Papasavvas now stands just 28 points behind the leader Max Garcia who finished four places behind Evagoras in seventh place on the day. Further back in the race Saturday and dropping to 22 points behind Evagoras in the Driver Standings was Sam Corry; both drive for the Pabst Team.
