Scheduled meeting for BOE is

in-person and online at 6 p.m. 1/21.

LOVELAND, OH (January 19, 2021) – Loveland School Board president Dr. Kathryn Lorenz will lead the five-member Board of Education through their first regular business meeting of 2021 this Thursday, January 21.

A meeting reminder notification sent out of the office of LCSD Treasurer/CFO Kevin Hawley says the meeting will be held both in-person (in the LIS/LMS Cafeteria at 757 S. Lebanon Road, Loveland, OH, 45140) for those who with to attend in person. For those who cannot, or do not wish to attend in person, the meeting will also be available remotely  via online link. THE LINK will be available in advance of the meeting on the district’s website lovelandschools.org/BoardofEducation.aspx.         

A quick search of the meeting agenda online reveals items for discussion and possible action include: planning commission, district committments likely to include review and discussion of survey results, and a diversity statment. The meeting will also include regular treasurer and H.R. items. There will be an executive session for matters of employment of public employees. 

The board has not yet named an interim schools superintendent. At this point, there is no confirmation from the board on whether the naming of the interim superintendent will happen tonight, or even any hint of possible candidates being considered for the temporary role.
