Melissa Landers was writing under the penname Macy Beckett 11-plus years ago when she celebrated the release of her first book “Sultry With a Twist” at a book-signing, book release party at Shooters restaurant right here in Miami Township-Loveland, Ohio. It was the start of her journey authoring a dozen books in those 11 years that have passed. It culminated with the “dream come true” announcement on November 26 & 27 her latest book “The Half King” has achieved Best Seller Status in the UK Sunday Times, and here in the U.S. New York Times and U.S.A. Today best seller lists. The Half King is in the new “Romantasy” genre and is the first of a duology – Landers is working on the sequel right now.
Landers has previously released the young adult series trilogy “Alienated, Invaded and United” along with the duology “Starflight” and “Starfall”. The “Sultry With A Twist” was the first of a trilogy under her penname Macy Beckett. Today, she celebrates reaching the Best Selling Author status with “The Half King”
