Adam Reed to replace retiring Principal Peggy Johnson

LOVELAND, OH (March 17, 2021) – The Loveland City School District announced earlier today they have hired Adam Reed as the new Principal of Loveland High School.

Reed will replace current LHS Principal Peggy Johnson. She announced her retirement earlier this year concluding a 39 year career in education at the close of this school year.
“Mr. Reed is a dynamic talent that we are excited to have leading LHS,” said LCSD Director of Human Resources Chuck Ogdan. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which will lead LHS into the next chapter.”
Reed has spent his career in Cincinnati-area schools, serving most recently as Principal of Wyoming High School. Reed has also served as an Associate Principal, and Assistant Principal at Milford High School. Before that, he was a social studies teacher at both Fairfield and Northwest High Schools.
Reed earned both his B.A. and Masters in Education at the University of Cincinnati before earning his Administrative and Superintendent Licensure from Xavier University.

Current Loveland High School Principal Peggy Johnson served in the role of LHS Principal for the past six (6) years before announcing her retirement earlier this year. Her retirement will be effective following the end of the 2020-2021 school year. It marks the close of 39 years as an educator for her.
Adam Reed will take on the new role for the 2021-2022 school year.
