Loveland Schools – News Release, December 20, 2019

Loveland City School District Treasurer Kevin Hawley announced Friday, December 20, that the public can now access financial information about the district on Ohio Checkbook. (http://ohiotreasurer.gov/Transparency/Ohios-Online-Checkbook) The website was launched by the state in 2014 to allow taxpayers direct access to see how their tax money is spent, and became the first resource to show all state spending information online. Nearly 1,200 local government entities have joined OhioCheckbook.com since 2014.

“This is just one initiative at Loveland Schools to become more transparent and accessible to our taxpayers and residents,” said Hawley. “We are working on additional ways to offer more insight and involvement in the work that we do. Among others, we are currently planning for a committee of community members to work closer with the board on various issues affecting the district, and we hope to launch that early in the new year.”

Financial data about Loveland City Schools on OhioCheckbook.com will initially cover the current fiscal year (2020) and last fiscal year (2019).
