There are some new Brave faces flooding the Twitter account of State Superintendent Dr. Paolo DeMaria – Indian Hill Elementary School (IHES) students and teachers who were part of an educational tour for Ohio’s educational leader Friday, October 4. From the IHES BRAVE Room to the state-of-the-art STEM iLab, DeMaria toured the school to learn what it means to be Brave.

“We are incredibly proud of the learning that happens within Indian Hill Elementary School, and we were thrilled to host Dr. DeMaria,” said Indian Hill Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “From a live performance by our music Braves; to seeing our stock market program in action; to talking one-on-one with a student about the importance of our new BRAVE Room for social/emotional well-being; the tour was an excellent way to share our commitment to excellence.”

Ohio State Board of Education Member Jenny Kilgore and Indian Hill Board of Education Vice President of Finance Nancy Aichholz joined Dr. DeMaria during the tour.
