Tigers will tee it up in the ECC Championship Tuesday

 LOVELAND, OH (September 21, 2020) – Long and straight, it seems that’s how the Loveland Boys Golf team has been hitting it throughout the fall high school golf season.

They’re driving (and putting) their way to a championship season currently undefeated with a 9-0 overall record and standing alone at the top of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference at 8-0 in ECC matches. The Tigers tee it up early Tuesday morning on the Grizzly at Jack Nicklaus Golf Course in the ECC Championship Tournament. They won the ECC Preview Tournament in August and look to repeat and keep the season perfect Tuesday. The Tigers close out the season on the links at the Oasis Golf Course when they tee it up against St. Xavier next Monday, September 28.

In Girls Golf, Loveland Lady Tigers are hosting Turpin at Hickory Woods today and will tee it up again Tuesday when they visit Mount Notre Dame at The Mill Golf Course. The ladies are 2-4 overall and in ECC matches.

TIGER TRACKS:

Soccer update: The Lady Tigers remain undefeated following consecutive ties in weekend action. They’ll visit West Clermont Tuesday.  The girls are 3-0-1 in ECC action and 6-0-2 overall.

The Boys soccer team is at Highlands Tuesday and hosts West Clermont Thursday. The boys are 3-1-0 in ECC action and 5-1-2 overall following a draw at Mason on Saturday.  

Girls Tennis saw the Lady Tigers defeat Little Miami 5-0 today. They are 12-4 overall and 5-2 on the courts in ECC action.

Girls Volleyball: The Lady Tigers are searching to put up W’s this week against the W’s as they match up with West Clermont, (today) Walnut Hills (Tuesday), and Winton Woods, (Thursday) on the volleyball courts. They ladies are 5-6 overall and 3-5 in ECC action.  

On the Tiger Trail in XC, the Loveland Cross Country Team(s) next run this weekend in the “Saturday Night Lights”  (Site and time TBD)
