More rigorous training for those seeking

more competitive play

LOVELAND, OH (June 9, 2022) – In a May Press Release , Loveland-based FC Storm announced FCS Premier – a new, more rigorous level of training for players who want to play more competitive soccer.

FCS Premier is designed for players seeking the next level in skill development. It is a response to players and parents desiring added growth opportunities within the framework of the FC Storm club.

“We are excited,” said Jessica Buringrud, FC Storm Vice President, “Our club’s growth, coaching education program, and player training is allowing us to expand the programming offered within our club to better meet the needs of each individual player.”

Players will be chosen based on skill level, growth potential, commitment, and physical and mental readiness for more rigorous training, with player selections occurring during the regular age-group tryout schedule. FCS Premier teams will play in competitive regional and state leagues.

FCS Premier teams will work with an experienced professional trainer who can guide players and teams to a higher level of performance. Teams will practice three times a week and have access to Hudl Assist, a video recording technology that allows trainers, coaches, and players to analyze practice and game performance. Off season and winter training will be tailored to the team’s specific needs. The training program and selection of coaches and trainers will be made by Anthony Doherty, FC Storm Director of Coaching.

The first FCS Premier teams will be formed this fall for the Boys 2012, Boys 2011, and Boys 2009 age categories. Additional teams will be added in the future with a vision of an FCS Premier team at each age beginning with U11.

We remain committed to providing quality coaching and training to all players, as well as consistent off-season training experiences. The addition of FCS Premier addresses a previously unmet need within our training structure.

FC Storm offers training at campuses in Milford and Loveland for players from U7 through high school.
