Special Meeting set for August 2nd

LOVELAND, OH (July 28, 2022) – The Loveland City School District (LCSD) today released public notification of a planned Special Meeting for the Board of Education.

In a notification from the office of LCSD interim treasurer Robert Giuffre, Loveland Schools announced a Special Meeting of the BOE set to take place at 6:00 p.m. this  Tuesday, August 2, 2022. 

This is a confirmation of the announcement made by the board members at their July 7th Special Meeting. This Special Meeting will be held in the the LIS/LMS Media Center at 757 S. Lebanon Road, Loveland, OH, 45140 beginning at 6 p.m. According to the notice from Giuffre’s office today, the Board will meet in special session for the purpose of considering the following matters: 

  • to consider proceeding with a tax levy for operating expenses
  • to accept a territory transfer
  • to accept financial reports
  • to act on updated Exempt Employee Handbook
  • to act on employment recommendations.

The notification from the office of Giuffre also included the following text: 

In accordance to Policy 0169.1, public participation may be permitted at scheduled business meetings of the Board.  NOTE: Hearing of the public will be included on the agenda of this meeting.
