LOVELAND, OH (July 11, 2024) – The films have been viewed, selected for screening and are being judged and many of the filmmakers are making their way to Loveland for the inaugural Loveland Shorts Film Festival August 2-4 here in Loveland.

The date draws ever closer with less than a month before they roll out the red carpet and welcome filmmakers and their films from all around the country and the world. The spotlight will be shining on the Loveland Stage Company theater for the first ever Loveland Shorts Film Festival Fri-Sun, August 2-4, 2024 at the LSC theater here in Loveland, OH.

Close to 100 film shorts were submitted for screening with 52 of those films making the final cut. They came from several states all around the nation including Los Angeles, CA and from around the globe including Moscow, Russia. While none of the filmmakers internationally are planning to attend, close to 40 of the filmmakers from around the nation will be on hand for the three day cinematic festival. Everyone will enjoy events like morning coffee hour at Hometown Café, Workshops, the Film Screening sessions on both Friday and Saturday; as well as after hour parties at Ramsey’s Friday and The Works – Brick Oven Restaurant Saturday.
