LOVELAND, OH and the U.S.A. (November 6, 2024) – The results are in and the American voter has spoken electing the presidential ticket of Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance as the next President and Vice President of the United States.

In a Presidential Election most agree held significant importance for the future direction of America, Republican candidate for President Donald J. Trump and his Vice Presidential running mate Republican Senator from Ohio J.D. Vance swept both the popular vote (72,015,922- 51%) and Electoral College votes (292 – 270 needed to win) over current Vice President and Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris (67,206,969 – 47%) and (224 Electoral votes).

NATIONAL – President Trump served as the 45th President of the United States from 2017-2020 after defeating Hillary Clinton in November 2016, but losing to current President Joe Biden in a much-debated Presidential election in November 2020. The election of President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance by voters Tuesday, November 5, 2024 will make Donald J. Trump the 47th President of the United States when he takes the Oath of Office for his second term on January 20, 2025.

In an important U.S. Senate race here in Ohio, Republican Bernie Moreno unseated Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown flipping a Democratic senate seat to a Republican seat.

STATE – In Ohio, statewide Issue 1 failed by a 54% – 46% vote of the people.

LOCAL – Closer to home in Clermont County, Ohio Republican David Taylor won the congressional seat vacated by retiring (Rep) Brad Wenstrup. Taylor won nearly 70% of the vote over the Democratic opposition candidate. State Senator Terry Johnson (Rep-14th District) won re-election with 70% of the vote. And State Representative Jean Schmidt (Rep-62nd District) won re-election with 63% of the vote.

In Milford, a tax levy for the parks passed with 62% of the vote, while a income tax levy for the Milford Schools failed with only 42% of the vote.

David Painter and Bonnie Batchler, both Republicans retained their seats as Clermont County Commissioners – both garnering 68% of the vote. Alan Freeman, Republican, won the race for Clerk of Common Pleas Court in Clermont County with 68% of the vote and Republican Tim Rudd received 69% of the vote to retain his post as County Recorder.
