CITY OF LOVEAND: Krista Rose

The pilot began May 19, after a delayed start due to backordered equipment. The pilot was set to end June 30. At least 60 days of data needs to be collected to effectively evaluate the pilot.

Despite the extension of the pilot program throught the end of July, the city will not collect parking fees on  Sunday, July 4.

There will be no changes to the parking spots in the pilot program. The pilot will continue to incorporate less than 10% of the city’s parking spots. The pilot involves just 13 single-space, on-street spots along West Loveland Avenue, Broadway Street, Harrison Avenue, Railroad Avenue and Karl Brown Way, as well as 42 within the City Hall parking lot. These spots have been converted to paid spots for the recommended fee of $1.00 per hour. Drivers may pay for spots at kiosks located in the City Hall lot or via the ParkMobile smartphone app.
