FUN WITH MAPS – ISSUE 2022-092 DAILY FEATURE:

By Steve Kovacs (Introduction by Chuck Gibson)

LOVELAND, OH (May 23, 2022) – In Issue 2022-092 of Steve Kovacs Fun with Maps, we note the historic end to a pair of famous bank robbers 88 years ago.

End of the Ride for Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, legendary outlaws, died on May 23, 1934, in an ambush by the law.

They met just 4 years prior and had a busy time together with a string of bank robberies and murders.  The Depression era brought out the worst in some people, with many outlaws active during this period.

Despite their robberies they were poor and lived day to day.

Both were natives of Texas and died in Bienville Parish, northwest Louisiana.  Bonnie was aged 23 and Clyde was 25 when they met their end.
