MILFORD, OH (September 16, 2021) – Calling all Foodies! Milford StreetEats returns this Saturday, September 18, with a promise to give a bigger and better than ever send off to summer 2021.

Event features 26 Food Truck vendors 9/18/21 in Milford, OH (Provided)

The event takes place 3-10 p.m. at Riverside Park  (425 Victor Stier Dr) in Milford. StreetEats will feature 26 diverse street food vendors offering guests the opportunity to sample a wide range of foods. You can relax in the Beer Garden, enjoy a  variety of craft and traditional beers and take in some entertainment too. The 26 vendors represents the most ever at the StreetEats event with food choices ranging from BBQ  and empanadas to lobster and gourmet corndogs.

“We have tried to gather favorite vendors from past years, as well as bring in some new options,” said Ron Swogger, president Milford Miami Township Chamber.  “This year we also have two of our Chamber members participating – Midwest Best BBQ, which has won national awards for their food, and Texas Roadhouse, known for their ‘fall-off-the-bone’ ribs.”

In addition to food and drink, there is a Children’s Area to keep the kids entertained. A blow-up laser tag will offer an exciting outlet for kids to run and play. The Craft Lab Milford, a brand-new business, will be offering free and paid crafts. All Around Art will have face painting and Magic Tom, the most experienced magician in the Midwest, will perform two shows, at 5 and 6:30 pm.

From 7-10 pm, LunchBox Band will perform a wide variety of music  to get everyone dancing and singing along. Bring your chairs or blankets, and spread out on the spacious grass area while you eat, drink and enjoy the musical entertainment.

Food options will include everything from hot dogs to tacos, BBQ to crepes, empanadas to German street food to street corn to dirty fries. A wide variety of dessert choices will also be available; including natural fruit popsicles, cheesecake, and waffles. There will be plenty of options for special dietary needs, such as gluten free and vegetarian/vegan. A variety of craft and domestic beers, wine, and seltzers will be available. Pop and water will be sold by and benefit the Milford Community Fire Department.

Feldkamp’s Fair Foods is a Milford-Miami Township favorite. Their trailer provided the community with a welcome break from COVID during many weekends in summer 2020.

“Having the chance to run down to the park and grab one of the BEST funnel cakes or elephant ears I’ve ever tasted, during one of the hardest summers ever (summer 2020), was such a welcome respite,” Swogger said. “Seriously, their elephant ears are Loretta Feldkamp’s grandmother’s recipe, and they are absolutely fantastic!”
