LOVELAND, OH (April 13, 2024) – It is with a heavy heart and deepest regret I share the sad news of the passing of our dear friend Pat Furterer today.

Pat passed in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 13, 2024 only a month after celebrating her 90th birthday. She remains the true Matriarch of the Loveland Stage Company and the Grand Dame of the city of Loveland, Ohio. Her accomplishments and contributions to this community will leave a lasting legacy. It is a fitting tribute the street passing in front of the Loveland Stage Company Theater is named in her honor – Pat Furterer Way!  There is not enough space and time to recount all she gave to Loveland and those who knew her.

Her passing is a great loss to our community. She will be forever missed and forever remembered in the fondest way. We bid her the fondest farewell with great love Rest in Peace Pat, rest in peace.  Just one year ago, on her 89th birthday, I had the privilege of sitting down with Pat as she shared her memories of a life well lived in an interview for Loveland Beacon. Here is that recorded interview:
