new ‘Women in Baseball’ exhibit

CINCINNATI, OH (February 2, 2023) – On National Girls and Women in Sports Day Wednesday, February 1st, the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum announced a new ‘Women in Baseball’ exhibit.

The Reds HOF announced the exhibit, sheduled to open later this month, will explore the impact of women on Ameica’s pastime.

The “Dinsmore Women in Baseball Exhibit” is  presented by the Rosie Reds.  This exhibit reveals the multi-faceted and impactful contributions women and girls have made, and continue to make in  America’s National Pastime. 

How women have impacted the game as players, fans, broadcasters, writers, coaches, managers, owners and executives is explored in this speccial exhibit. This is a story dating back to the early days of the organized game and one continuing to evolve today.  You’ll learn the many obstacles women and girls have overcome, and still struggle against, to be a part of the game they love. The exhibit highlights many of the groundbreaking individuals, their achievements and events inspiring to all those striving to make their dream come true. Conceived and curated by baseball historian John Kovach, the exhibit will feature over 200 artifacts.

This new exhibit is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, February 24, 2023. Stay tuned for more information coming soon about this exciting new part of the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum!
