April is usually the month for the community litter pick up in Loveland every year. This year, the pandemic quarantine caused a change of plans. Like so many other yearly events, the organizers had to get creative. Thus, a virtual litter pick up where anybody can join in the event while still maintaining safe distancing. All you have to do is go out into the community and pick up litter between August 2-8.

Take a photo of yourself picking up litter and post it to the Love our Land Facebook page to be entered for a chance to win a prize. It’s a win-win for you and our Loveland community. You get a chance to win a prize, have fun doing it, and Loveland gets an environmental clean up.

Pick up litter, drop it in the trash, take a photo, post it to Love our Land on Facebook (Still from video)

Simple as that. Pick up litter around Loveland.

It is “A vision for citizen-driven land conservation in Loveland'” from the Loveland Tree & Environment committee. They created a video to tell the whole story.
