Mary Newman will autograph and talk about her books this Sunday, July 11, at LMC

LOVELAND, OH (July 9, 2021) – The Loveland Museum Center (LMC) continues its local author book signing series this Sunday, July 11, 2021 with author Mary Newman and her books “Edible Flowers: A Global History” & “Cherry”.

Author Mary Newman will talk about and sign copies of her books from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Her book “Edible Flowers: A Global History” takes readers on a delightful journey through the history of flowers used in cooking from ancient Greek recipes to today’s culinary quest for natural and healthy foods. She’ll be talking about the origins, legends, and health benefits of the cherry.
Both books will be available for purchase in the Museum Center Gift Shop along with others.
Five more authors are scheduled through October 17, 2021 as part of this LMC special Local Author Book Signing Series. Next up is Loveland Children’s Book Author Kay Bolin with “Luce the Goose” on Sunday, July 25, 2021. 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Also coming up at the Loveland Museum Center is an evening of live music Thursday, July 15, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. on th lawn with New Horizons Dixieland Band. LMC encourages patrons to arrive early to enjoy the 1930’s and WWII exhibit in the museum. Bring a picnic and a lawn chair to join friends on the lawn for the fun music. (Adult beverages are allowed)
