Twenty Braves earn accolades

INDIAN HILL, OH (May 3, 2020) – Seven Braves placed first in state!

Indian Hill High School Students won several DECA awards (Provided) 

Indian Hill High School (IHHS) offered congratulations to 20 IHHS students as they proudly announced the students earned awards as part of the Ohio State DECA Competition.

“Due to COVID-19, this year calculations included online testing and written papers,” explained Indian Hill High School teacher Phil Said, who mentors DECA students through a program in partnership with Great Oaks. “Despite these unusual circumstances, our students did an excellent job! We are very proud of all our DECA students!”

  • Nick Bulas, Apparel & Accessories                                                   

IHHS students who won earned second place in state include:

  • Elizabeth Saba & Mary James, Franchise Business Plan                                        
  • Nick Grossi, Accounting Applications                                    
  • Garrett Anderson & Jay Consolino, Entrepreneurship Team                                               
  • Julianne Allspach, Principles of Business                                         
  • Emerson Evans, Principles of Hospitality

  • Sophie Sawyers, Hotel Management                                    
  • Ryan Rammacher, Principles of Business                                        
  • Annie Joy & Annie Isphording, Buying & Merchandising Team                       
  • Saskia Gobonya & Hosein Hashemian, Community Awareness Project
