The event will finally unveil the new event center at 119 Karl Brown Way everybody has been wondering about since work began on the building months ago. More than that, The Landing General Manager, Jodi Taylor says the Grand Opening event will benefit Loveland’s very own NEST Community Learning Center. She said owner/partner, Kevin Malof, wanted to do something special for the opening. Making it a charity benefit was his idea
“All proceeds go to NEST,” said Taylor. “All around, what they’re doing is so impressive and so needed. I don’t think I even realized the demographic of the community that is suffering.”

The pandemic has only increased the number of families and kids suffering throughout the community. At the same time, Covid-19 has cancelled all the NEST fundraising events scheduled so far in 2020. NEST Founder Evangeline DeVol made a plea on their Facebook page earlier this month for people to buy a ticket to the Grand Opening of The Landing to help raise funds for NEST in this challenging time.
“The Loveland community has been an extraordinary partner for NEST, said DeVol.
“The community has always stepped up with volunteers, donations, everything we’ve needed to meet the needs of the kids in our community. With Covid-19 restrictions, and different school schedules, we are implementing a plan to meet the kids where the need is; to meet their education needs. This Grand Opening for The Landing is an opportunity for the community to rally together, to help one another, and to meet those needs.”
