John Lennon

Today is the 40th anniversary of John Lennon’s death at the hands of a delusional madman, Chapman, in New York City.

It seems like Yesterday.  John was born near Penny Lane.  He was for peace and felt that All You Need is Love.  He enjoyed his music during A Hard Day’s Night, Eight Days a Week.  Eleanor Rigby, Lovely Rita and Lady Madonna were friends, but John married the artist Woman, Yoko (2nd wife).  He did not need Help! in finding Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.  When I’m Sixty-Four remained a dream, having died at 40…

Let it Be.
