A forward look into 2022 for Loveland-Miami Township-Symmes Township

LOVELAND, OH (January 31, 2022) – The annual chamber “State of the Region” update is set for this Thursday, February 3, 2022.

The public is invited to join leaders from the region as they offer a peek into the future with an overview of what is planned for 2022 in our local communities. The event will take place in the Hamilton Clermont Cooperative (HCC) center at 11:30 a.m. with lunch provided for all registered attendees. HCC is located at 1007 Cottonwood Dr. (off Loveland-Madeira Rd) in Loveland. Just CLICK HERE to register now.
Loveland City Manager David Kennedy will present information updating the status of housing development including the 2022 Homearama site “Chimney Ridge” and other development plans. You can expect him to discuss updates on city services like the police department, fire department and public works departments along with a view into progress on roads, sewers, water and other key pieces of City of Loveland infrastructure improvements.
Miami Township Administrator Jeffrey Wright will bring into focus the latest on repaving projects and any improvements planned for sewer, water, and other township corridor infrastructure work. He’ll talk about the latest in restaurant, business, retail and industrial additions expected for the coming year. As always the view of Miami Township going forward will also focus on parks and recreation improvements for an active community lifestyle for the citizens.

Symmes Township Administrator Kimberly Lapensee will likely share updates on continued improvements to township parks, walking trails, and park facilities. She’ll share updates on historic preservation and event center facilities. Sidewalks and walking accessibility has been a strong focus for the township lifestyle most recently and you can expect to hear more on that during her presentation.
