Braves competed in both Hamilton County and Clermont County

INDIAN HILL SCHOOLS – Braves divided and conquered.

During the January 17 Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) District Mock Trial Tournament, three of the Indian Hill High School (IHHS) Mock Trial teams were sent to Hamilton County to compete, and two were sent to Clermont County to compete. Braves brought home two District Championships on the same day!

IHHS witnesses were led by students Michael Ragnone, Sophie Chabris, Peter Zhang, and Jenny Zhang, each of whom won one Outstanding Witness award – and by Claire Hardek who earned two Outstanding Witness awards! IHHS attorneys were led by Joseph Kayne, Tacey Hutten, Avery Valz, Ethan Marx, Sophie Chabris, and Gigi Lewis, each of whom won one Outstanding Attorney award – and by Sarah Motawi who earned two Outstanding Attorney awards!

IHHS Mock Trial now advances to the OCLRE Regional Tournament.

Additionally, Braves earned several awards during the University of Cincinnati Mock Trial competition January 11. Michael Ragnone, Jenny Zhang, Jena Bennett, Lily Andrews, and Brooke Youngblood earned Outstanding Witness awards. Avery Valz and by Ethan Marx brought home Outstanding Attorney awards! Braves placed third overall.
