Chanel No. 5 was released 100 years ago today.
This iconic perfume was created by the irresistible fashion designer and businesswoman Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel.
She singlehandedly drove the move to the sporty, casual chic as the new standard for women post World War I. She led all aspects of fashion through her career. Her brand continues to influence fashion to this day.
