LOVELAND, OH (March 5, 2025) – The Loveland High School (LHS) basketball teams put 126 3-pointers through the net during the home hoops season helping the Tiger’s Inc partnership with Jarvis Global Investments, LLC canned soup drive deliver for LIFE Food pantry again.

This is the fourth season for the campaign during the winter basketball season at LHS. The Tiger’s Inc campaign, headed up by Loveland High School seniors George Timman and Lola Jones, netted 1,587 cans of Progresso Soup and nearly $300 in additional cash donations which were delivered Tuesday morning March 4th. Over the four years, the 3’s For LIFE campaign has brought in several thousand cans of soup including 2,000 cans one year. The successful outreach effort has also brought in thousands of dollars in cash donations which allows the food pantry to purchase other needed items to help meet the needs of the community. George Timman and Lola Jones were at the forefront of the Tiger’s Inc. winter basketball campaign for this 2025 donation.

They did a lot of work getting the student body involved. They also worked on designing the ‘Spirit Towel’ with Jarvis Global Investments (JGI). The design was their creation and JGI provided the towels which they promoted at the basketball games to help raise cash donations. It has a basketball hoop representing how they get the cans, the Tiger’s Inc. logo, the spirit club logo because they collaborate to help promote the campaign, the LIFE Food Pantry to show who they are supporting and the main supporting sponsor Jarvis Global Investments logo.
Helping the community through this campaign leaves Jones with a good feeling.
“I think it’s a good feeling. I think it’s very eye-opening to what our community needs,” said Jones. “It’s also fun see others give back as well…seeing fellow students step up, getting involved, doing the right thing.”

George Timman took the lead for this winter campaign, but was involved as a co-leader for the fall “Rally for the Tally” campaign which also brought in over 1,500 cans of soup. He’s witnessed his fellow students step up to give twice this school year.
“It means a lot especially because as a high school student like everyone else not everyone gets to be a part of a project like this,” said Timman. “This year the ‘Rally of the Tally’ and ‘3’s For LIFE’ – that’s over 5,000 cans that have been donated to the LIFE Food Pantry. Just being on the other side and seeing all your peers and other students stepping up and donating too is huge because we get to see first-hand how it affects the people here in the food pantry. That’s it right there.”
Loveland InterFaith LIFE Food Pantry is extremely grateful for the continuing support from Tiger’s Inc. and the LHS community over the years. Executive Director Linda Bergholz has witnessed these deliveries multiple times and expressed tremendous appreciation for the students efforts to help in conjunction with the support of Jarvis Global Investments
“They’re great kids,” said Bergholz. “I can always count on the Tigers Inc group because these are some of the most amazing young people the pantry has worked with. I give the kids from Tigers Inc an immense round of applause.”

Bergholz is equally appreciative of the efforts and support from Art Jarvis and Jarvis Global Investments.
“You reach out to Art and say we need XYZ and he’ll say okay, got it,” Bergholz said. “Soup is one of the big things are families want. It’s filling, warm, kids will eat it; put it with a grilled cheese sandwich. Our senior citizens don’t want to eat a lot sometimes. Soup is kind of the universal comfort food. Having that much is amazing.”
It is not just soup though. The LIFE Food Pantry shelves are filled and re-filled over and over with many items necessary to meet the needs of our community.
Here now is the list of needs for this week – reaching beyond the wonderful soup donation from the 2025 3’s For LIFE campaign.
