The ladies socialized from 12:30 – 1pm while enjoying fall snacks supplied by our hostesses Patti Veroni, Linda Williams, and Nancy Sullivan. The ladies took delight with the homemade pumpkin cookies baked fresh by Linda, while sipping on apple cider.

President Rebecca Giver called the meeting to order promptly at 1 p.m. Kay Bolin introduced our speaker Emily Barlow, Publisher of Loveland Lifestyle Magazine. Emily spoke of her move back to Loveland with her husband and 18 month old daughter to be near family. With a background in journalism and marketing, she took a job as editor of Loveland Lifestyle Magazine. If you would like to receive this magazine, please send your name and address to Kay Bolin and she will see your name is submitted.

Devotions were delivered by Kay Napier. She described childhood memories of her grandfather making apple butter and telling stories about Johnny Appleseed. Kay gave us the history of John Chapman (aka Johnny Appleseed). We bowed our heads in prayer. Afterward, Kay passed out favorite recipes for Roman Apple Cake and Caramel Apple Cake.

It was decided the Loveland Woman’s Club would next gather for their Christmas Luncheon December 14th at O’Bannon Golf Club.

Their next official meeting is scheduled for March 2022.
