The event hosted by the Loveland Woman’s Club (LWC) takes place at Loveland Presbyterian Church, 6796 Loveland Miamiville Rd.  Proceeds from the event will be used for the scholarships awarded to Loveland High School students each spring by the LWC.

Members of LWC plan to fill about 50 purses with all sorts of goodies. These “themed” purses are filled with things like gift cards to local Loveland restaurants and businesses, bottles of wine, jewelry, and gardening items- just to name a few of the goodies you may find “in the bag. . . and beyond!”.  All purses will be featured in a silent auction.

Here are details of what is happening

at “It’s in the Bag. . . and beyond Saturday:

  • Participants will  have a chance to win a $100 money tree, and door prizes.
  • Brett Sears will entertain everyone with a “Strolling Magic Show” from 1-2PM
  • Refreshments and a great spread of appetizers will ber available.
  • A wine pull, bids for the purses, and a live auction featuring Loveland’s own local auctioneer Jim Poe.

The  $5 entrance fee goes toward the scholarships. Proceeds from the silent purse auction, live auction and wine pull also go to fund the scholarships.

The ladies of the Loveland Woman’s Club invite everyone to come out and join in the fun-filled afternoon to help raise money for the scholarship awards.
