Braves win 6-0 during three-day tournament

to advance to the regionals

INDIAN HILL, OH (February 4, 2021) – The Indian Hill High School (IHHS)  Mock Trial Program earned a perfect 6-0 during the three-day Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) Mock Trial District competition!

Three IHHS teams competed, and three teams will advance to the regional competition.

“We also want to celebrate the individual awards our students earned,” said Steve Reger, IHHS teacher and Mock Trial advisor. “In addition to posting a 6-0 record, Indian Hill earned 17 of 18 possible ballots, and won 11 of 12 possible awards.”

Congratulations go out to: 

IHHS students Ashwini Krishnan, Brooke Youngblood, Sydney Poffenberger, Joseph Kayne, and Claire Hardek earned Outstanding Witness awards. IHHS students Gulirano Almuratova, Avery Valz, Sarah Motawi, Bridget Schumacher, and tournament MVP Tacey Hutten won two Outstanding Attorney awards.
