Hoxoworth Blood donation centers
will be closed Thursday, February 3

CINCINNATI, OH (February 2, 2022) – Hoxworth Blood Center announced early Tuesday evening all neighborhool blood donation centers will be closed Thursday, February 3.
Alecia Lipton, Director of Public Relations for Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati made the announcement in a statement sent to area media Tuesday.
“Hoxworth Blood Center is closing all Neighborhood Donor Centers and Community Blood Drives on Thursday, February 3 due to the predicted winter storm,” Lipton wrote in the emailed statement. “Donor Centers will re-open Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.”
There is one exception on the planned re-opening of blood centers according to the information provided by Lipton. Hoxworth Central Donor Center at UC will re-open Friday morning at 6:00 a.m. Again, all other Donor Centers are scheduled to re-open at 10 a.m. on Friday morning February 4.
