Loveland added two more goals in the second half to secure the final 9-0 win and ensure another sectional tournament match next Tuesday as they move on in soccer postseason play. The Tigers dominated the winless Owls from the opening kick-off and never looked back. They scored nine times even though the game was shortened with just a 30-minute running clock for second half play.

Loveland mostly played what became a game of “keep away” in the middle of the field after the early onslaught of goals put the game safely out of reach from the Mt. Healthy squad. Despite a clear effort to avoid “piling on” with additional goals, Loveland still scored twice in the second half to tally their highest scoring game of the season. The win raises the Tigers win total to 12 for the season. They now stand 12-2-3 overall in 17 matches.

Postseason tournament play continues for the #3 seeded Tigers on Tuesday, October 27, win they’ll travel to Sycamore High School to play #16 seed Elder who was a 3-1 winner over Lakota East Thursday night.
