Aid Shipment for Ukraine left Matthew 25 Ministries early Monday Morning, February 28, 2022

CINCINNATI, OH (Februaray 28, 2022) – A truckload of releif products for displaces Ukrainians was shipped out of Matthew 25 Ministries early Monday morning, February 28.

The truckload of aid is destined for Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid and crisis relief to those affected by the recent invasion by Russian military troops. The truck was loaded with personal care supplies, paper products, first aid and safety supplies, and clothing to help supply those in need due to the ongoing invasion crisis in Ukraine.
Today marks day five of the invasion with reports of intense battles between the invading troops and the civilian forces of Ukraine trying to protect their homeland.

Matthew 25 Ministries announced Friday, February 25, their plans to provide aid to Ukraine. Today was the first truckload shipment destined to carry relief to the Ukrainian people. Matthew 25 works with partners throughout the year to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine and other areas within the Commonwealth of Independent States, an association of sovereign states formed following the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Matthew 25 is working with these partners to provide items such as personal care supplies, paper products, and clothing to Ukraine to assist people who have been displaced.
Matthew 25 is requesting donations of the following types of items to supplement existing supplies, for restocking during their response and for future disasters:
– Monetary donations: Donate online or mail checks to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 (100% of donated funds designated for Ukraine will be used for the purpose intended).
– Product donations: The following product donations will be accepted at our facility located at 11083 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242:
o Personal care products: Antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion, etc.
o Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
o Clothing: New and gently-used clothing
