TQL plans $78 Million expansion
PRESS RELEASE: Jean Schmidt, Ohio State Representative
COLUMBUS, OH (March 9, 2022) – Total Quality Logistics is expanding further into the Cincinnati area, State Representative Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) announced.
Cincinnati’s largest private company is investing $78 million into its Union Township headquarters to create 1,000 new jobs and $60 million in new payroll. For TQL’s headquarters, this is the second-largest expansion in history.
The expansion is expected to bring new job openings in technology, sales, operations, human resources, finance, accounting and marketing.
“I am excited to see TQL expanding its operations in Union Township. The township has experienced such growth over the years and this expansion will continue to drive that growth forward,” said Schmidt. “I want to thank the Township Trustees for helping make the area a place that businesses like TQL wish to develop in. The added jobs and economic development will be such a positive thing for the district.”
Since its founding, TQL has become one of the largest brokerage firms in North America. Through supply chain innovation, the company moves 3 million loads of freight across the nation each year by connecting customers with the best carriers.
State Representative Jean Schmidt is serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 65th house district, which includes northwestern Clermont County.
