LOVELAND, OH (September 10, 2021) – Tigers head into their week four matchup with the West Clermont Wolves looking to pick up that evasive first win of the season following a close 34-38 loss at Turpin one week ago.

Andy Cruse, LHS Football Coach (Chuck Gibson)

Loveland Head Coach Andy Cruse talked about his pride in the effort this group of guys is making to get on the winning track following the game last Friday.

“We talked about showing grit for four quarters and our guys showed that tonight. I’m extremely proud of them, I really am,” Cruse said. “It hurts, right, because we’re close. We’re so close, but we’re tired of being so close. We know that Turpin’s a really good team, but I believe that we are a very good team. Now, we’ve got to get over the hump. We’ve got to find a way to get it done as well.’

Tigers enter the game 0-3 overall and 0-1 in Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) action. The Wolves are 1-2 overall and with a 19-17 win over Lebanon last Friday they stand 1-0 in the ECC. That is the hump Loveland will try to get over tonight.

Game time is 7 p.m. at West Clermont.
