Tomorrow is Christmas in Loveland

LOVELAND, OH (December 16, 2022) – The magic of Christmas arrives in full splendor for Loveland tomorrow, Saturday, December 17.

The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance with a whole bunch of Santa’s helpers will again transform the City of Loveland into a Christmas wonderland for all the community to enjoy. All the joy of the Christmas holiday season will come alive Saturday, December 17. Visitors to the annual celebration can enjoy carriage rides, a kids train ride, trolley rides, complimentary food and beverage tastings and crafts. There will be plenty of the traditional Christmas entertainment along with some new scenes and fun all around historic downtown Loveland. The main stage entertainment will be in the center of town (across from City Hall) and will feature the live nativity scene. You’ll find lots of holiday entertainment inside the local businesses too.  Chamber President, Cee Cee Collins shared her excitement about the 2022 community celebration of Christmas in Loveland.

“There will be so many fun activities such as train rides, caroling and Santa’s Wonderland, just to name a few,” said Collins. “This is such a great event where the businesses want to give back to everyone that has patronized and visited in downtown.”

Christmas in Loveland is truly a gift from the businesses to the whole community. Whether it is warm or cold, rain, snow or sun, the celebration will bring to life everything Christmas was ever dreamed to be. 

From the treats on the streets, to carolers caroling, warm cocoa, tasty cookies, bright holiday decorations, and special entertainment on stage (in the LSC Theater and on the Main Stage in town) to gifts and crafts, and Santa and Mrs. Claus at the North Pole, there is something for all.

So they say to every girl and boy from 1-92, Merry Christmas to you!

“They truly appreciate everyone supporting local businesses and hope they will return to enjoy all of the Loveland area,” Collins said. “There will be many samplings and give-a-ways for all ages to enjoy!”

A few Christmas in Loveland Fast Facts:

• The event takes place from 4-8 PM, December 17th
• The kids Christmas train is at the Loveland Museum Center

• A Holiday Trolley will transport people to the Loveland History Museum from Harrison Avenue at no charge.
• Maps of all the activities will be placed inside the businesses and available by the clock tower.
• A back portion of Railroad Avenue will be closed to allow for the horse drawn carriages. Carriages will cost $2 per person.
• Line up for the Carriage is on Railroad Avenue-across from the Wicked Pickle Restaurant.
• Entertainment will be in the center of town and next to the fountain.
• A shuttle bus will take visitors from the Shoppers Haven Parking lot to downtown Loveland. The Shuttle will run throughout Christmas in Loveland (4-8 p.m.)
• The event is free for all
