CINCINNATI, OH (February 28, 2021) – The Dragonfly Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer patients and their families, announced the appointment of Jason Sayers to its Board at its meeting on Wednesday, February 17.
Sayers is a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky and has over 25 years of experience in selling new home construction and is a certified new home specialist. Sayers has also received the ‘Top Producer Award’ two years in a row from the Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association.
Mr. Sayers said joining the Dragonfly Foundation Board was an exciting and humbling moment. Sayers’ husband battled cancer for four years, and Sayers says he can relate to Dragonfly’s mission and the struggles Dragonfly patients and families face.
“After I lost my husband Kevin of almost 20 years, I was looking for a way to give back to the community and I feel like I finally found the best way to give back. And that’s by supporting other families going through their cancer journey,” said Sayers. “When our journey with Kevin ended, I knew there had to be some way to give back and show support, and this is exactly what I have been looking for.”
Sayers’ family has a history of philanthropy in Northern Kentucky. Sayers is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and an associate degree of Applied Science in Real Estate. He’s also an alum of Campbell County High School. Sayers lives in Taylor Mill, enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and loves trying out all the best food that Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky restaurants have to offer and is an avid supporter of local businesses.
