LOVELAND, OH (September 30, 2025) – If you love chocolate, (and I do) you’re going to love The Cocoa Muse now open in Loveland at 600 West Loveland Avenue just across from the Loveland Dairy Whip.

This is more than a chocolate candy shop. You’re going to find the highest quality chocolates specifically designed – yes I said designed – by a local chocolatier. That’s not all. Along with great specialty chocolates and fudge, you’ll find the opportunity to order your favorite espresso. No, no don’t think for a minute that’s it. This “chocolate shop” is already making its mark as a destination stop. I won’t even try to describe it here, but I knew the minute I walked through the door, this is a special place. You’ll know too. Just walk in and expect to be blown away by the atmosphere. It is R&R at it’s most pleasant. Peaceful, inviting, warm and comforting fall short of describing what you’re in for when you stop in. And don’t forget the finest crafted chocolates. Don’t be in a hurry. You will definitely want to take your time and savor the experience. Then take some home too.

All that and you’re wondering what’s the story? Who is the owner? Short version here and now. The owner, the creative visionary behind The Cocoa Muse is none other than Jessy Tye, wife of Derek Tye. The story is hers to tell. She will soon join me on a special episode of Loveland Beacon Talks – The Podcast to share her story and the inspiration for this destination for fine cocoa masterpieces and comfort. For now, I’ll leave you with this. It was fudge, but not just any fudge. It was peanut butter fudge made by Jessy’s grandmother. Let your imagination run wild, Jessy’s did. The Cocoa Muse is the result. Her story is coming…here on Loveland Beacon. Stay tuned. But don’t wait to stop in for your delightfully decadent first (and not your last) taste of The Cocoa Muse.
