In this edition of Loveland Beacon Talks with guest Lisa Waddell, we learn details of the upcoming fundraising event for the LIFE Food Pantry – Empty Bowls. In the 2022 inaugural Empty Bowls event spearheaded by Waddell, they raised $14,000 dollars for the food pantry here in Loveland.

Here is some of the information you’ll want to know about the 2023 Empty Bowls event from Loveland InterFaith Effort LIFE Food Pantry:

  • Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.
  • For just $25, you can enjoy a meal and take home a beautiful handmade pottery bowl donated from local artists.
  • All proceeds will benefit the Loveland LIFE Food Pantry, which provides food and financial assistance to our local neighbors in need.
  • In addition to warm soup, fresh bread, and decadent desserts provided by local sponsors, you’ll have an opportunity to win fabulous gift baskets donated by local businesses and the community.
  • Two seating times are available, 11:00-12:30 and 1:00-2:30 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
