City plans first “Hearts Afire” weekend celebration

LOVELAND, OH (January 4, 2021) – Sparks will fly February 11-13 in Loveland, the “Sweetheart of Ohio.” The City of Loveland is pleased to announce a new city-wide event debuting in 2022: Hearts Afire Weekend.

Hearts Afire will take place the weekend before Valentine’s Day. Imagine the perfect winter weekend in Loveland, featuring romantic carriage rides, ice sculptures, outdoor decorations, live entertainment, and fire performers!
The city will host a variety of activities, and local businesses will bring the heat with shopping and dining specials, as well as unique events. Businesses in the Historic Downtown District, as well as along the Loveland-Madeira Road Corridor, are participating.
Some of the weekend fun includes:
- Ice Carving Demonstrations
- Galentine Activities
- Speed Dating
- “Mask”erade Ball hosted by the Loveland-Symmes Firefighters Association (Tickets on sale now!)
- Chasing Cupid 5K
- Love & Attraction Spell Workshops
