Indian Hill High School Braves competed against writers from 30 high schools across the state

INDIAN HILL, OH (June 4, 2021) – Congratulations go out to the Indian Hill High School ompetitive writing team for participating in the JustWrite state competition for creative writing Saturday, May 22.

These budding authors, poets, and journalists did more than compete in the event which was held virtually with writers from 30 high schools from across the state, including some of the largest public to the smallest private and parochial high schools.

Indian Hill High School student Elsa Zhou earned first place writer for division one. The IHHS team earned third place for division one. The team award was determined by the overall number of points generated by all the writers on the team. The IHHS team of writers included: Hannah Kremer, Maria Nath, Joy On, Grace Wang, and Elsa Zhou.

“We are so proud of these students and congratulate them for their incredible performances in the state competition,” said Tom Millard, IHHS teacher and JustWrite mentor.
