NEWS RELEASE: Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce (Edited for publication by Chuck Gibson)
MILFORD, OHIO, August 11, 2020 —The StreetEats, Summer Tour is serving up food and fun every Friday & Saturday throughout August in Milford.

StreetEats, the largest food truck & music festival in the region, has been bringing fun to Greater Cincinnati since 2013 – so why should this year be any different? COVID may have limited our ability to gather, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy festival food and feel like this is a normal summer. That’s the goal of the 2020 StreetEats Summer Tour, sponsored by RDI.
Dessert food trucks and fair trailers are coming to the City of Milford to offer delectable treats otherwise hard to come by this summer. These unique offerings are supported by local restaurant and retail deals, giving visitors the option to “make a day of it” as they explore beautiful Old Milford and the surrounding area. Concessionaires are located at Riverside Park next to the river, 425 Victor Stier Drive in Milford, just a few-minute walk to the other shops and restaurants in the area. Times are approximately 5-9 p.m. on Fridays and Noon-9 pm on Saturdays; visit our Schedule, Facebook, or Instagram pages for complete details for that weekend.

Concessionaires include T&L Concessions, frying up funnel cakes and elephant ears made from owner Loretta Feldkamp’s grandmother’s secret recipe; Bair’s Concessions, offering funnel cakes, crispy fair fries, and refreshing lemon shake-ups reminiscent of when we were young; Caveman Crepes, serving delicious, gluten-free, organic sweet & savory crepes; CinciSicles, providing natural fruit pops bursting with flavor (and some with alcohol!) and only a half teaspoon of sugar each; and the ever-popular Marty’s Waffles, those buttery, caramelized Belgian sugar waffles, delicious plain or topped with fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream.

Milford is also home to the only permanent DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) within a half-hour of downtown Cincinnati. Reminiscent of New Orleans, visitors may stroll the streets and shops enjoying an alcoholic beverage in a designated DORA cup. Local restaurants are offering unique drink specials that you can buy without entering the restaurant, such as The Governor’s frozen strawberry Aperol spritzer and 20 Brix’ adult Capri Sun. Most shops permit visitors to enter with their DORA drink, so you may wander and shop while enjoying your special drink and feeling like you’re on a mini vacation (just please maintain social distance and wear a mask within range of others to protect us all and keep our shops and restaurants open).

It is sponsored by RDI, a long-time partner of the Chamber.
