LOVELAND, OH (February 3, 2022) – On a day when area leaders from Loveland, Miami Township and Symmes Township were going to deliver a ‘State of the Region’ update, ice turned out to be the State of the Region for the day.

Freezing rain, sleet, a wintry mix, call it what you will, ice fell from the sky and coated roadways, walkways, even some power lines and the landscape of our community Thursday, February 3, 2022. That is the State of the Region today. NOTE: the real State of the Region update originally scheduled for today was postponed due to the weather conditions and will now take place Monday, February 7. CLICK HERE for details. (Same time and place at originally scheduled, just moved to Monday, 2/7)

Getting back to the storm at hand, ice and the snow forecast to follow closed Loveland Schools and City of Loveland offices and services for today. Schools have already announced closure for Friday, Feberuary 4, as well.
