LOVELAND, OH (May 04, 2021) – In Issue 2021-85 of Steve Kovacs Fun with Maps, we look to the stars in the sky.

May the Fourth be with You

Today is Star Wars Day.

This epic saga by George Lucas started on this earth on May 25, 1977 in movie theaters.  But it takes place “Long time ago, in a Galaxy far, far away…”

The fight between good and evil is as old as time itself.  That fight remains of interest to people, as the Star Wars saga spanning five decades illustrates.  May the Force be with you.

Here is a celestial chart from 1748 by Le Rouge showing both the northern and southern skies.  One wonders where is that galaxy of Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader.
