LOVELAND, OH (September 21, 2023) –  Evagoras Papasavvas joins Loveland Beacon Talks Sports Special presentation talking Indy Car Racing as he closed out his first full season racing in the USF 2000 Indy Car series in Portland, OR during Labor Day Weekend.

The 15 year old LHS sophomore (won’t turn 16 until Christmas Day – December 25, 2023) won his first USF 2000 Indy Car Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the 2023 season. He sped to several pole position starts with top qualifying speeds at race events throughout the season. Papasavvas raced to multiple top three finishes placing him on the podium in races all year long. If not for a engine troubles in the final two races of the season, it is likely the youngest driver on the circuit would have finished the season third overall in the driver championship standings. As it was he finished #4 among all USF 2000 series drivers. 

It is a pleasure to have Evagoras share his story here on Loveland Beacon Talks Sports Special. Evagoras Papasavvas is recognized as an “up and coming” Indy Car driver whose first career win was described by the racing world as: “surely the first of many to come for this talented young driver.” The Loveland, Ohio youth has raced his way through the KART Racing world including winning championships there before the age of 13. At the tender young age of 15, he has proven himself a true racing competitor with the Jay Howard Driver Development Team in the USF 2000 Championship Series for Indy Car Racing.  There is no doubt he is well on the way to achieving his goal to be a professional Indy Car Champion Driver.
