A notice released by the City of Loveland this afternoon, Tuesday, November 17, states the purchase and installation of the audio/visual would be completed using “Cares Act funding, in compliance with all requirements of Ohio Office of Budget and Management.”
The “Special Meeting” is being called due to the time sensitivity of approval for the system utilizing Cares Act funds.

When reached for comment, Loveland Mayor Kathy Bailey explained the purpose for the special meeting and an upgrade in the audio/visual system.
“The meeting is to authorize the expenditure,” said Bailey. “This is through COVID money (Cares Act Funding) designed, in part, to help make sure we are staying in touch with our citizens. We have outdated equipment. This is certainly an upgrade in new equipment. It’s time-sensitive if you want to get it reimbursed through the Cares Act.”
