UPDATE: NO CLOSURE OF wEST lOVELAND AVE. jAN 14-16

LOVELAND, OH (January 6, 2025) – (REVISED UPDATE)  – FROM THE CITY OF LOVELAND TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2025: THERE WILL BE NO CLOSURE OF WEST LOVELAND AVE. JANUARY 14-16. THE NEW CLOSURE DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS SOON AS IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED. AGAIN, NO CLOSURE OF WEST LOVELAND AVE JANUARY 14-16. THE CITY APOLOGIZES FOR ANY CONFUSION. 

Nearly a foot of snow fell on Loveland and surrounding Cincinnati communities over the last 24-plus hours in the first winter storm of the New Year – the impact has been far-reaching with closures and delays for schools and businesses and even some services.

The City of Loveland recently announced plan to close West Loveland Avenue  at Cherokee Drive for three days: Jan. 7-9, 2025, from 9 AM – 3 PM daily for a water main replacement project has taken a hit from the winter storm. Due to the winter weather conditions, the project is being pushed back one week. The new dates for the closure/detour are Jan. 14-16.
