In his release to the Loveland Schools community, Broadwater also reminded everyone there will be NO SCHOOL for LCSD during teacher in service days Friday, October 13 and Monday October 16, with students returning to the classrooms Tuesday, October 17.
Here is the text of his message including a note about the Town Hall which took place last Wednesday, October 4, and the next one coming up in November:
We’re moving quickly toward the end of the first quarter. This week will be a busy time for students as they wrap up assignments and finish up tests before teachers start crunching the numbers on the first report cards of the year.
I want to remind parents that we have no school on Friday, October 13, and Monday, October 16. We’ll see students back in class on Tuesday, October 17. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.
We had our first Town Hall Meeting of the year last week at Loveland Middle School. Thank you to everyone who came out. People seemed to enjoy sitting together with their neighbors and having open-ended conversations about things like academic opportunities, career exploration, and other important topics.
We’re committed to listening to our community. We have another Town Hall Meeting coming up on November 8 at Loveland High School. You can RSVP on our website – and if you can’t attend, you can still give us some feedback by completing our district-wide survey. Find it all at www.lovelandschools.org/engage
