Today’s edition of ‘Poet’s Corner’

By Susan F. Adams

LOVELAND, OH (December 12, 2023) – Nearing Christmas, we welcome another poem from the collection of poet Susan F. Adams here on Loveland Beacon’s “Poet’s Corner”.

On the Honda Gold Wing Intersate on the way up the mountains outside Kingman, AZ (Susan F. Adams)

Susan shared the following story about today’s feature poem: Refreshment for My Soul

Here’s the story:

The photo you see here was taken on the way up the mountains in Kingman, Arizona the first time we went up it on our Honda Gold Wing Interstate. It sure beat going there in a car. The houses and yards were exquisite at the top of the mountain.

Each day we would leave Kingman and go over the very highest mountain I have seen there. We would end up in Laughlin, Nevada to “donate” our money in the casinos. Oh, what fun we had!  – Susan F. Adams

Please note, we will continue featuring the poetry of Susan Adams on a regular basis in Poet’s Corner with Susan Adams. If you’d like to share some of your own poetry with our readers, please send your poem as a word document along with your contact information for consideration to Poet’s Corner on LB via email chuck@lovelandbeacon.com
