LOVELAND, OH (June 12, 2020) – The Warren County organizer for “Free Ohio Now”, Deb Giehl has announced the site for planned “Rally Around Ohio” to ‘Free Ohio Schools’ this Saturday, June 13.
The group is calling for a peaceful assembly of people to rally for Ohio schools to announce a return to normal classroom instruction for the upcoming school year.
In a press release issued by Free Ohio Now, they cite concern of a “bad policy” restraining schools from returning to full classroom instruction. They acknowledge coronavirus quarantine “may have been warranted” initially, but it is time to consider facts have shown young people are least impacted by the coronavirus. The press release points to evidence the same young people are at risk for other “peril” by being kept out of the classrooms.
Giehl says the Warren County rally will be held at Montgomery Road and Columbia Road from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, this Saturday, June 13.
