LOVELAND, OH (August 3, 2020) – The Loveland Stage Company has begun its presentation of a series of online streaming performances in the style of old-time radio shows.
Old Time Radio Play now “showing” at LSC online (Provided)
The first one, “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde was directed by Michael Harris-Kiser. It is available NOW! This three-act play was recorded for audio, but LSC also had the cameras rolling.
ABOUT THE PLAY:
“The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People” is a play by Oscar Wilde. First performed in 1895 at the St. James Theater in London, it is a farcical comedy in which the protagonists maintain fictitious personae to escape burdensome social obligations.

In the currently airing ACT I, Earnest and Algernon discuss life, love and cucumber sandwiches. Earnest courts Gwendolen, but her protective mother, Lady Bracknell, has other ideas.
