Annual celebration includes fireworks, parade, concert & more ON July 4th

LOVELAND, OH (June 22, 2022) – Only 12 days until the 4th of July Independence Day celebration in Loveland. Make your plans for a family fun day in Historic Loveland, Ohio. Here’s what’s happening:

The City of Loveland recently announced details for their 2022 Independence Day celebration. Mayor Kathy Bailey says everyone is invited to join in the celebration in Historic Downtown Loveland. 

“We want to invite everyone to visit Loveland to celebrate with us!”  – Kathy Bailey, Loveland Mayor 

The family friendly celebration of our nation’s independence will take place Monday, July 4, in Historic Downtown Loveland. Many of the are set in Nisbet Park.

Here is the schedule of events taking place throughout the day: 

4-6:30 p.m. Nisbet Park:

  • A kid zone with photo opportunities
  • a mini petting zoo
  • performers and more

4-9:30 p.m. in front of City Hall and Fountain Greene (in front of Fleet Feet Store): 

  • Lawn Games available

7 p.m. The Parade: 

  • will leave from Loveland Elementary School (600 Loveland Madeira Road)
  • travels West Loveland Avenue through the downtown district
  • Parade ends at S.R. 48 and East Loveland Ave. 

8-10 p.m. at the Nisbet Park Amphitheater:

  • The band COLOR BLIND performs high energy hits from the 70’s thru today’s radio hits

10 p.m. FIREWORKS 

  • Display will be visible all across the Downtown Loveland Sky.
  • Pick your favorite viewing location

  • Food trucks will be at the event.
  • Visitors may also enjoy the city’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).
  • Parking shuttles will be transporting eventgoers continuously from 4-11 p.m.

Shuttle pick-up locations include: 

  • Loveland High School (1 Tiger Trail) 
  • Loveland Early Childhood Center (6740 Loveland-Miamiville Road)

Drop-off locations include: 

  • Riverside Drive
  • Third Street

SAFETY NOTE: eventgoers will  walk to the festivities from the drop-off locations.
